APAS-100 Valve help

Looking for APAS-100 anti siphon replacement valve,or parts it's a rain bird part and l'm not getting any help from RB supliers. I am not familiar with anti siphon valves in my area can l replace with regular inline valve.l read somewhere that APAS valve is use in poor water situations is this true any advise would be appreciated.

Here's the PDF with the parts list.
I don't know of anyone that carries parts for those old valves.
You would probably be better off cutting it out and installing the ASVF series valve.
This site says that the valves/parts were no longer available from RB as of 2008. They do say that they have an actuator that will work with that valve.

isn't the entire actuator on those APAS valves replaceable by any Champion-compatible actuator?

Also check with Irritrol. I think they make a 300 Series Actuator that will fit the APAS threads.

As Wet Boots said, the Champion-style threads should work. A brass actuator might be top-heavy for the ASV body. See if Champion has a plastic model too.

The Irritrol 300 series would work, but the 2623DPR is just as reliable and less expensive.
I've used the Suprior plastic actuator on those too, though I don't know if they sell them there.
