That's correct, I've seen those go bad and cause no spark. Just disconnect the wire that goes to the switch mounting screw (ground) and check spark again....

Add another to the list!!!! She fired right up. Is replacing the seat switch a easy and cheap fix?? I thought about just going ahead and buy a suspension seat and calling it a day. It has the ag tires on it now will it ride smoother with turf tires?? Thank you for all your help and I know where to come to if I have any other issues.

Seat switch isn't bad at all, If the rear tires are OEM run them at 8 lbs pressure and it will glide across the yard....

The back tires are oem and I got them at 7lbs. I don't know how people can run one of these all day without there back hurting. I love my cheetah way more after riding that thing for 10 min. What is a good suspension seat for dixie oem or aftermarket??

Sorry, Didn't catch your reply.....

What's the serial number on this machine ? Should be a white tag on the seat cross bar at the hinge area....

no wonder 7lbs of air thats max pressure on my tires
I run 3-4 lbs in the rear

Lift the seat...unplug the relay on the rear supprt bar for the seat...

Dixie .chopper has never come up with a reliable safety or brake system....

My newest one has safety switch on brake, pto,seat and handle levers
I found out un hooking kill part on the pto As long pull the brake before getting off it will not die
You must been around older DC
I have 4 that has drum brake system pull the brake it dont go no where
the band brake system isnt the best but with proper maintenance they do work well

I'll have to check it,it is at my Dad's house for the summer. When I got this thing it had 20 psi in the back tires and thought no way is that right. I'll try 4 psi next time I go over there. The most I can tell you right now about the model is it's about a 2007 or 08 classic industrial 2750.
