city worker love

Good job spraying the sidewalk fellas, stellar performance.
This property stays edged and maintained, didn't need to be touched. Just past it in the picture they've sprayed the sidewalk edge overgrowth mostly. Since it didn't need it here I guess they decided to make sure to let every one know they had been working.

Many of the cities around here haven't used herbicides on any-thing that's city owned in a couple of decades.

You'd think they would spray towards the road instead of green areas.

What's the second picture of, a city crew? Seven supervisors and one laborer?

ha ha posted that from my phone and thought it was in the commercial residential mowing forum. Guess it actually fits here better.
Took me a minute of head scratching to figure out exactly what might have caused the dead strip of grass then it suddenly hit me when i looked up and noticed the sidewalk edge on up the street.

The second pic is about 1 mile away from the first. Think there's 2 in the hole digging. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say maybe there's more to the story; but it looks like an absolute waste in the eyes of a tax payer, both pics. Makes for a good laugh at first until you realize it came straight from your wallet.

That's mild compared to what some idiots did to one of my commercial properties. The city obviously drove a truck along about 150 feet of the property and applied something that totally killed everything two feet back from the curb. Totally unnecessary as I trim it once a week. Made me sick. What next?

Edit: I looked at the first photo again and mild is not the right word. That looks almost as disgusting as my job.
