Sorry compressor question?

Someone offered me a Vanair viper 80 gas compressor deck mount ( 485 hrs)for $ 4500. I mostly do residential blowouts with the odd small commercial BO. Good deal?

You never will know about an answer you might have been given, because a casual onlooker couldn't see your general location. Anyway, $4K seems a lot for a used compressor of that capacity.

I believe my used tow behind GS 100 CFM was about $2000. Works like a champ. But I have though about truck mount units lately too.

I have been looking for a tow behind for 3 years now and anything worth buying is over 4000 were do you guys get these deals !!!

It kind of helps if you are in more densely populated areas.

I still think the best bang for the buck is to whip together a skid-mount unit from a used pump and an appropriate engine.
