I'm quite familiar with grass types, and most of the yards here were sodded with a Kentucky Bluegrass/Tall Fescue/Perennial Rye Blend. But NO WHEEL marks.

I use to cut my lawn and then rake it, and that would eliminate any striping and wheel marks, but these are bigger lawns where I cannot see someone cutting and raking. So I wonder if anybody is using lawn Vacs to get this appearance?

For when only that pristine look will do, we use Hovermowers.

I was talking with some ground keepers at the golf course and they say the hover mowers are a PITA... I thought they looked cool, and it would be fun to use. They say no, they're a back breaker, but... they use them on steep slopes and around the ponds.
