Temp system for 10 acres

Just wanted to get some opinions. My boss told me about a job we might get. It would be 10 acres of turf (im assuming) fed by a hydrant. We were trying to figure what would be the most economical route. I thought dirty water and maxipaws, and my boss was thinking toro t7. I know im lacking some other important details, but this is all up in the air. Anyway what has been your guys experience with these setups? thanks

We dont do much temp irrigation but I have seen that a lot of the large commercial installers have started using MP's on green cut-off risers with a shrub adapter.

I have a trailer with temp supplies and already have 200 5004's that we use for temp work. We go back and pick up everything after the turf is established and reuse the rotors, valves, pucks, and pipe.

Hmmm . . . Right now we dont know if they are keeping the setup when it is done or we are hauling it off. But 5004's seem to be a pretty good solution between cost and radius. My boss also mentioned MP's but I dont know, lately Ive had to swap a few out that stopped rotating.

We did one last year that was 47 zones @ 42gpm per zone. If you were standing at one end you could not see the water coming out of the heads at the other. Cha-friggin-ching is right, I pre paid one year of insurance (auto/comm/workers comp), 1 yr advertising, bought two weeks of supplies (16 systems) and re-financed my personal truck by paying half the loan when I got that check. I do not have any business debt or I would have paid that off also.

3 weeks ago I just got another request for bid to do the "phase 2" temp system that is 40-50 zones. We still have all the pucks from the last job and I still have all of the MP's.

Where/what are these sites that need temp irrigation on such a large scale?
