Has anyone ever replaced a BR600 primer bulb

Apparently it's rocket surgery...I've tried taking the back cover off, taking the air filter out and removing all torque screws I could see..my owners manual is no help..any advice would be appreciated

My 550 was easy pulled the cover off and then used a phillips screw driver to pull the bulb off.

It's actually not that bad if I remember right. I changed mine twice when I had mine within a six month period. I took the covers off and used a needle nose to pull the lines loose, then took the primer assembly off and replaced with a new one. It's been a while so I can't really remember the details, sorry. I had the assembly with a spring inside the primer. I have a husqvarna blower that has never had the primer replaced in four or five years. For some reason the Stihl bulbs don't seem to last.

Did you take the pull rope assembly off too? that will hold on the cover. Trying to think of how many bolts hold that cover on, i think its four.

On the 600's you can't just change the bulb. Its a bulb valve assembly, costs about 14.00, plug and play.
