How fast are we talking? Ive been contemplating buying the ultra vac, trac vac, or a billy goat. I tore up a belt on my new exmark at 150 hours. Really hacked me off when I had to pay $80 for a new belt for a new mower! My Dixie Chopper has 1900 hrs and i really think I've only had to replace belts 3-4 times.

I had several and never had a problem. A dealer I used to work with had a crew with 6 ultra vacs on spring and fall clean ups. Each unit broke a belt a week. Finally he went to watch the guys. Turns out they were over filling them stopping and or slowing the propeller making the belt slip and burn. All got thier butts chewed, and didn't happen as much.

No, he means not stopping to empty the bags, so the tube fills, then the impeller fills, and is clogged with clippings. It clogs up, and then the impeller slows or stops, burning the belt.
I have had 3 Ultravacs. I do replace belts a couple of times per year. But I buy aftermarket cheapies.

What can I anticipate paying for a 60in Ultra Vac with the bag hoppers?
