Some quick words on the SumaGreen Turf.

Fresh batch came from Egg Harbor NJ in 2 days.

Applied to a one year old stand of Lesco "Double Eagle" Perennial Ryegrass at the 4oz/1000 in the PermaGreen at 1qt solution per 1000.

Watered in for 10 minutes.

A GREAT greening response in 24 hours.

Try a 1/2 gallon and you won't be sorry on cool season turf.

Rep very easy to deal with and great online order website under sumagreen.

Also no fungicide use 3 weeks before application, otherwise you knock out the nitrogen fixing component and will only get a response from the humic acid component.

Mix a fresh batch daily.

And he will be at our booth with samples Aug. 1 at Rutgers' Turfgrass Field Day.

How about warm season turf??? Any tests done with warm season? I noticed one poster said the the suggestion was to combine 1/8-1/4lb N per K with the sumagreen. Can it also be mixed with products other than fungicides...say broadleaf weed controls or pre-emergents? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Yes, at this point it is probably being used more on warm season turf than cool.

The manufacturer suggests 1/8lb N with first application only. This will provide a quicker green up for customer satisfaction and is not required for additional applications. For the pure organic folks, just double the SumaGreen rate on 1st app.

It can be mixed with herbicides and/or insecticides, usually at lower rates. Do not mix with fungicides as that will harm the microbes. Within a year you will notice a reduction in pesticides, herbicides and fungicides by 50 -90%.

PM me for more details.

I am very pleased with the results so far. I think the best thing I can say is that I only had one customer compliant so far this year compared to about 20% of my clients last year. That is very nice when phone does not ring especially during this dry spell.
Grass looks greener on my lawns then my clients neighbors lawns and those are being treated by other companies. i am assuming they are using fertilizers but honestly do not know I just do know that my lawns are greener. Price is right and application is easy to mix with other products. I have been using 1/8 pound on every other treatment so I am going into my 4th treatment and have used 1/8 pound twice so far on treatments. I am thinking of just using 3 oz per 1000 sq/ft for the rest of season. Bottle says 2 oz but the guy I spoke with said to up the rate to 3 oz during this dry spell. For the price I am thinking of cutting out the 1/8 pound next year and just using the 3 oz treatment for every treatment. I figure I can always go back to adding the 1/8 pound if need be.

Planning on testing on some C-4 (warm season) grasses in the coming week.

Also will note that the sumagreen turf is actually supressing some minor Brown Patch already on the Double Eagle Ryegrass.......Yes even with low fertility we have brown patch here in the River Valley.

Very Happy so far with SumaGreen!

Rutgers has been field testing SumaGreen as a fungicide.
Stop by our booth at Rutgers Turfgrass Field Day on Aug. 1 for more info.
