Trimstar bypass valves
We were going to put our 36" Trimstar on a lift to do some blade maintenance, and wanted to be sure it's okay to put the mower into freewheel by pulling out the bypass valves. We didn't want to get air into the hydro system, and weren't sure how they worked. We wonder if we should consider the bypass valves for emergency use only, or if it's okay to use free wheel anytime we need to move the mower a short distance on the trailer or in the barn.
We're using the Trimstar a lot and it's got a great design to it.

Its ok to use them to freewheel anytime, just pushing though, do not tow it at any type of speed more than a walking speed.
