Which Chainsaw Should I Get?

I've narrowed it down to two:

http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-25ec...1#.UCQG0DGe6Zc

http://www.lowes.com/pd_197596-86886...oduct_rating|1

I don't use a chainsaw very often, so I feel that 18" is plenty big. Please don;t suggest other brands. It's either one of these.

Thanks a lot!

Get the Husky, I bought the Echo one and got rid of it a week later,it just seemed cheap. I've always ran sthil and thought I would give it a try, but it didn't work out. I've heard good things about the Husky.

I like the Husky myself, but unless your "big box store" repairs them buy one from a dealer who will take care of you when you have a problem with it.

Get the Husky. You won't regret it later. The extra CC's will make a big difference. That saw will run that bar easily. My smallest saw is the Jonsered version of it with an 18" bar, and its performance is all out of proportion to its engine size. Everytime I use it I am amazed at what it'll do, and how quickly it'll do it.

You can buy it at the big box store, and a dealer willl still fix it, but they won't put you to the head of any line. On top of that, the dealer will sell you the same saw for the same price, and treat you a lot better if you ever do need service.

I had a husky it sucked, not a fan of other echo handhelds. However since these are the only two options go with the husky. I will say though for a few extra bucks get the Ms 270

I own the CS400 with an 18in bar and it has plenty of power. I have no trouble out of it. I use it for storm cleanups, cutting low hanging limbs, removing small trees and bushes, etc. It works great for me. You will find duds in every brand. I like the looks of the Husqvarna saw and I have the Husqvarna 570BS blower and love it. Get which one feels better in your hands. If you have questions about the Echo I will try to answer.

I got an Echo CS-400 with an 18" bar a few weeks ago. I like it alot, but the only other saws I have used are a Poulan Wild Thing and a Stihl Farm Boss.
I bought the CS-400 at a local dealer and they filled it with chain oil, 93 octane premix, and tested everything for me. It was the same price as the box store, too.
