ATTN: John Deere Users!!!!

Anyone using the JD's that have a ball joint type control linkage on the zero turns make replace them at around 1,000hrs!!! Just had a second one go out, 1st one around 1k and this one at 1.5k. This is VERY dangerous when it occurs, you lose all control in which ever side becomes disconnected. I easily could have been killed if I was at the next job! Also its a special order part so buy them before it goes out.

Not sure but PLEASE make sure to take a look, I'm really afraid this problem is going to get someone killed!

Keep an eye on it, also get a couple for when it goes out. You can't move the mower when it decides to go.

Double zipties help hold them from popping off . That sounds like a bad place to use those tie rods as they are notorius for popping loose.
