Mulching mowers, with proper mulching assemblies makes a sure job in less time as long as the leaves is dry. When you get rain and dew from cold mornings,etc. The job is less desirable.
I do not know the dumping costs there in your area but have you considered a leaf loading system and dump on a compost site. I read some of the responses above and can't help but think that your area should or could have an area for this. Remember, on site composting, especially when you compress these leaves after cutting will create tremendous heat and will steam. On site dumping until you can get to it later may result in burst fires. This reason is why I cannot dump into sites around my area. These sites must be approved and monitored by the PC&E and EPA.
For me---It costs 36.00 a tone for leaf weight......bulk or compressed!!

Now--Here is my question! Since these other competitor's is bidding lower than before, where are they dumping these leaves for less??
