Looks like a tiger cat with suspension. If they are not going to have 2 speeds, it could go 12mph instead of 10.5. I think it will be a flop.

hm...seems they are aiming for residential owners or trying to keep the price down. my deere only goes 10.5mph. it's plenty fast enough for mowing. the engine options baffle me the most. those aren't commercial engines i don't think. needs vanguard and fx series engine options like the other cheetahs. this is what makes me think it's more for homeowners with alot of acreage.

Hope this is homeowner model and they offer one like larger cheetahs. I have been waiting for this mower, this one looks very disapointing. I agree with you guys that it will flop. I won't even consider this mower unless they offer better engine choice and hydros like larger models.

I wander what the price point will be. Looks to me like competition for the Tiger Cat, but I'd rather have the Cat.

Well it's what I thought it would be. What was everyone expecting? 10.5mph on a 48 to 52 mower is plenty. The 3400 series hydro's fit the bill. Yes the engines are light but I'm going to guess they are coming with more later. To my understanding these will sell like hot cakes at the dealer just as the larger Cheetah's are.

What I've been told is the Tiger Cat and Turf Tiger will always be in the line up with the Cheetah's being right along side of them.

Do you feel the zt3400's are adequate for the weight of the machine? Also has anyone successfully put similar hours on 3400's that's seen with separate pump and wheel motor combos?

I have a new one with an FX engine on it. I opted for it over the Tiger Cat as it has the suspension deck, a foot brake pedal, fuel gauge, and I like the height adjustment a little more.
