Agreed RedMAx EBZ 7500 or even 8500. There is nothing better out there on the market right now

So do I........except for the Husqvarna versions of those two blowers, which are a lot more comfortable to wear for any amount of time due to their vastly better shoulder harness system. I'll take the 7500/570 over the 8500/580 every time. Lighter, less expensive, and so close in real world performance there's not muchreal reason to choose the 8500/580. On top of that, there haven't been any complaints about the 7500, while there have been a bunch of them on the 8500 blowing up. Enough so, that RM issued a recall/repair bulletin.

see if you can demo some at your dealer. for me i have a stihl br600 and redmax 8500 and i would choose the br600 anyday over the 8500. i think it blows just as strong and is lighter and just feels much nicer to use but thats just my opinion. i have had echo shindaiwa and redmax in the past also and i think the stihl is the best of them all.
