Hortico won't budge on the 1000 dollar deductible on glass we argued it with them at length a year back. The only claims we ever get are glass and the bastards wont cover them because they aren't big enough. So in thus case we would of been out the entire cost. Iv gotten a guy that's taken out 2 windows and some sort of drain this season. I dare him to make it 4 I double dare him my good will towards his years of service are at and end.

I have no problem paying for broken windows, glass doors etc. Its the big ones that worry me.

I have pictures and collectables (hoses, irrigation heads, fence pannels, cut tires, blowers that got run over w/ trailer, etc..)of all sorts of mis-haps from over 30 years of landscaping. We post them in the shop on the "wall of shame" along with the approx cost of repair.

I have done that before with a trimmer but the window was at a commercial property and it was huge...needless to say I didn't run it through insurance

Make sure you talk off the record,non claims still count as a claim against you as a non paid out claim.
