mower wont move
unhooked the hydro lines (now empty since the pump seal blew due to pressure), and the wheel wont even turn. if i try hard enough itl hit some kind of "hard spot" as it locks up. i can then turn it backwards part of a turn till it locks again.
putll the mower forward, left spins. right does not. zoro z master ty for help |

Sounds like the wheelmotor siezed...deadheading the pump..and the seal blew when the pump had to relieve the excessive pressures..
Time for a new wheelmotor...might be able to replace the pump seals.. Disassemble the pump and inspect for damage... Posted via Mobile Device |

I know the pump needs to be rebuilt. what do I look for to know what is damaged when I take it slower? |

Internal parts in wheelmotors are bad expensive...usually cost prohibitive to repair if you need anything more than a seal kit..
If you have a tight spot while turning the wheelmotor something is probably broken..if you take it apart the problem will be obvious... Any damage inside the pump will also be obvious..worn and broken parts don't hide very well inside the pump... Posted via Mobile Device |

if it can be rebuilt (assuming i can find parts). what do i need to look for as far as if its "eligible" to be rebuilt? other than the housing being scored.
