01 exmark lazer z 23 hp kaw fuel in oil

I have an 01 lazer z with a 23 horse kaw while replacing the clutch a decided it would be worth while to change the seal on the pto shaft. When I drained the oil it had an abundance of fuel inn it. Looked like chocolate milk... oil only had about 6 hours on it never did this before. Anyone else have this problem? Or anyother common issues with this particular mower? Any help would be great thanks!

Well fuel in oil won't cause the milkshake, only coolant. I'm assuming that you kaw is liquid cooled?

No its air cooled that's what it reminded me of lol but that's not the case. Also it smelled heavy of gas. Thanks for trying!

Different type of vehicle, but I have a atv that will leak by sometimes. Not all the time but some times. Maybe as simple as using or installing a shutoff valve. Sometimes the bouncing around during transport can disturb the float. Good luck

Float will stick & gas will fill the cylinder leak past ring to oil. Had this happen last year on my Toro walkbehind. You're supposed to shut fuel off when transporting. I now shut off fuel at tank after I went to mow a lawn last year & had gas spewing out the muffler.
