Dieseltech, what does that put down on the dyno?
Ever run it in on the track?

My brother-in-law works at a local diesel shop and theyve got a dodge drag truck that ran 7.01 in the 1/8th at DTR Raceway in Midland, TX last weekend. I believe in 2 weeks they are going to some huge diesel thing in Tennessee. They're taking the drag truck and 2 sled pullers.

It puts down just under 500... I have ran the 1/4 in the mid 13's. Still a work in progress though.

I would not powdercoat aluminum rims, it makes them weaker because they heat them up. Anodizing is the way to go, but with all the costs & hassle, it's easier to buy them in w/e color your want from pro-wheel or excel. Trust me, I know, I've been racing since 1999

for now this is my only toy

i had this but sold it in favor of the ford which was one of the smartest things i did..

the two tone dodge had a suncoast tranny, industrial injection dragon flow 200hp injectors, arp head studs, 18* timing 0 fuel plate full forward, 4,000rpm governor springs, and pushed a stock turbo to 55psi and put down 456whp/1053 ft lbs of tq. on stock turbo, i added some more fuel and a much larger turbo, and i went a little too big on the turbo to make big gains on the dyno, it was much quicker on the street but laggy until 2000rpm, but at 2000rpm it hit hard enough to catch up to and pass an 07 mustang cobra. up until 110.

dyno video

some day i'll have another one and build it, the tranny was 5k by itself, but it was all billet, and i could launch in 4wd with 20psi and do 4wd burnouts.....pretty insane feeling.
