I dont know what works where but here my Scag does just as good as any other mower out there. Sharp blades make all the difference. BUT they have to be sharpened properly! I have the 61 Turf Tiger with stripe kit (and yes the stripe kit make a great difference). i pick up alot of yards in the same neighborhoods because of the " I want my yard to look like that" neighbor coming over and getting me to quote their yard.

I dont like DC that much, my opinion and preference. Whatever works best for them is good. I am just trying to pick out of the 3, well 2 cause i want a ZT instead of a stander haha. thanks

If you say "Quality before Quantity" your best bet would be to get a Exmark
If you say "Quantity before Quality" then a Dixie Chopper is Better.

I have had 3 JDs, and my dads got one, and im still not perfectly happy with them. I am sure i will never be 100% satisfied with the mower i get but i know i dont want another JD. Nothing wrong with them, just me.

What is so wrong with the Husky PZ? I use Snapper Pro and Huskys and they both have made me very happy.

Looks like a lot of you guys are up north and I assume you are cutting cool season grasses. Anyone have input on what cuts warm season grasses best...other than a Walker?
