Looking for a new truck ??? thoughts ???
Hey guys, anybody on here running any chevy 1500 5.3L's? Im looking at upgrading from my 2002 2 wheel drive 4.3L as it doesn't have the towing capacity I need. I'm hauling either a 14 foot tandem enclosed, 22 foot tandem flatdeck, or an 8 foot tandem dump, all of which are rated for 7000 lbs. the towing capicity on the 2012 chevy 1500 reg cab 4x4 long box with the 5.3L and 6 speed hd auto tranny is about 10000 lbs so I'm thinking it'll be fine. Any thoughts?
