When to seed in MN
I live in the twin cities of minnesota and have always spread seed in the spring but i have herd that the fall is the best time for it. So when is the best time to seed. Also if i seedin the fall i will use a starter fertilizer but i have heard that i should use a weed and feed in the fall to if that is the case how long do i need to wait after seeding?
Thanks Corey |

Get the seed growing now... if the new grass has filled in for 3 weeks and you see some broadleaf weeds to get rid of then spray them and you're good for the season... we're kind of in the same latitude and I've discovered it is best to winterize before Oct 15th, but you can spray weeds as long as they are actively growing and storing food for the winter... they really suck in the poison during this time...
