New from Minnesota
I'm new to the site, but a veteran to the lawn care business. Been in the business for a little over 16 years working for a company out of Farmington, MN. I'm also in the process of hoping to buy the company. I joined the site to get some insite on what I should and shouldn't do on buying a current business and what I should know before going forward.

Welcome,
A few things off the top of my head. I have not purchased a business but here are some thoughts. - get their financials, - involve a good lawyer - no compete documents for current owners - purchase price to be paid over a period of time based on retention. - watch your hind end for people looking for blood in the water to pick apart the business during transition. Good luck! |
