please help

so ive called the wright company in regards to a grass gobbler for my lesco 34'' stand on mower and they told me they dont make one due to the discharge chute being even with the back tire thus making the catcher rub on the back wheel. yet i see other 34'' mowers that are basically the same thing such as the great dane surfer or everride scorpion 34 with grass gobblers i dont know if the company didnt think about the bracket for the catcher to fit or what. someone please give input

You are going to need a welder. Get regular catcher install it and fabricate something for the gap. Have fun I did with my Dixon 34 ztr. Everything for 34s has to be custom.

maybe you could tell me are the chutes on all the 34 stand ons the same. I found a great Dane 34 with bracket and gobbler it doesn't look like a custom bracket but I could be wrong also accelerator does make a catcher but that's another 200 dollars. Thanks

They are not the same. It's just that they are oddball machines and require creative problem solving. I'm sure you could find something on eBay.

As Jim said, go for the Accelerator. The $200 you spend extra is a lot less then a chiropractor or a doctor bill. It's already designed to fit and you can put a extension on if you want it.

You can't go wrong with it. Plus there's no trying to make it fit. Pricey, yes but it's worth every penny, believe me.

I beilieve you. I've heard nothing but good things about the accelerator. My thought is that its gunna be a lot easier to have steel welded than aluminum.

Not necessarily. Most metal fabricating shops can tig weld aluminum too.

Mine is 4 years old and still going after quite a few bangs and tosses. The first one I got lucky and didn't lose it. It fell off the trailer. A few scratches not a problem. A few other times I had to throw it over a fence to dump it. Yep a 6ft'er. Still no cracks and slips right on the mower perfect with no signs of wear.
