how much to charge or how long will it take
I've got a current client that will be moving in the next couple of weeks and I met her at the new house yesterday. She wanted me to give her a price on cutting some bushes and small trees. Most of the bushes are boxwoods ranging from small to large(large ones are about 4'-5' wide). There are 34 of these total and camillia bushes that are about 7-8 foot tall. There's 6 of these. There is some type of small trees around her deck that I've got to figure out what they are but really overgrown. She can't get to the deck using the walkway without going through the jungle. There is 9 of those. Could someone help me figure out how long this would take so I can give her a price? I appreciate your help.

By cutting does that mean removing them or just trimming? A couple pics would help too if you have them.

All depends on how experienced you are at trimming. That's why I charge by the job and not hour.

I was thinking it would take about 8 hours but I'm not sure since I don't do alot of shrub trimming. From what I've done in the past, people of have been very satisfied with my work.

I try to keep my trimming prices simple. Most of mine are included in contracts. But when not; I usually its $5 per shrub where I don't have to get off the ground and this is not overgrowth. This is just shaping. Overgrowth should be as follows if they should have been cut twice this year then that's 2x more price. Too many people end up cutting overgrowth too cheap. That's why our customers will let them get outta control cause we are not making them pay for the times they shoulda been cut.

If it id going to take 8 hours, just charge her $480.00. Sounds fair to me.

Dependent on the Camellia type, trimming them now you may be removing the potential blooms this time of year, just food for thought. We have several that will bloom in November time frame on some of our properties. Other than that 8 hours of shrub trimming does not sound very realistic to me for the number of shrubs you have indicated.
