Around here, these signs are only allowed on weekends.

There were professional sign crews putting up signs on Friday evenings and down Sunday night. This keeps them out of the way of the mowing crews.

We were putting up signs this year, some a hole would cut the ends off both ends. Next year I'm going to rub signs in poison ivy so when he holds it to cut them it will get all over his hands and steering wheel of his car.

Good job! It really takes something to get out there and hang 'em. I make myself put a couple in the truck when heading out on each delivery. It let's people know you service that area. I see domino's putting them out saying "We deliver here". It's a smart way to go. I get a whole lot more from these signs compared to my $200/month billboard. It's a wise investment.
Secondarily you can use this same pdf file when advertising on Craigslist which creates brand awareness (as I'm sure you know).
While on a compost delivery last week I had this brainstorm for a CL ad:

Title: Guess who's talking a load of Poop?

Description: At least I'm honest about what I'm trying to sell you. And so-on & so forth.

Needless to say, it was flagged/deleted within a day or so.

The one time Code Enforcement threatened me about the signs I simply asked which would he prefer:
1. I remove the signs as demanded on my way to apply for food-stamps?
or
2. The signs remain & I'm one less drain on society?
(Nothing against food-stamps, I say grab all the silver-ware you can as this Titanic is going down).
His response was: "Just get 'em down o.k."?

Now I'm not blind, I know these signs can make the roadways seem trashy sometimes & that's why I've recently acquired a fondness for the type as pictured. As long as the freebie bag sticks around it draws attention to my sign w/phone # above.
I had a lot of fun leaving the bags around the county then on Craigslist I'd post: Where's the Poo Bandit today? This way the posted pics would give them a clue where they might find their free 50# bag (if it's still there of course).

Still doing some aerations. Out of the 100 I bought I have 31 left. Stolen, thrown out before I came back for them a couple days later. Cost of doing business .But they did work ,picked up a lot from them.
