Its this your own personnel property? If not, is your boss going to appreciate you doing your own lawn cutting on the side?

As for price, when I borrow stuff from work I typically take what it would cost me to rent the equipment from a rental store and go %25-50 off that.

he doesn't mind that I have my own small buisness on the.side he's actually been very helpful. Only think he says is don't let it interfear with your real job which I completely understand. Not being an ass but you didn't answer my question to well. Should I rent.it hourly if so how much per hour or should I rent it some other way

If your boss is LCO & you are doing lawns on the side, he prob won't go for it. If the job takes you 1 hr, you want to give him $20. Not worth it. Now if you needed it for 10hrs=$200, then maybe. What if something major happens to the mower while you are using it? Are you gonna pay for repairs?

Its a 34". With the 72" I'm estimating an hour. my rate is 60 an hour after drive time and everything else factored in I came up with $100 a cut. mow trim edge blow. With the 34" its gunna take twice.as long therefore my price would have.to double. Iam somewhat new to the buisness game I've been a mower for awhile and iam excellent. All buisness info such as placing bids or anything else is appreciated. Thanks

I did awnser your question...you just didn't interpret it correctly. Prices vary all over the country so I left the final details up to you.

Example:
You can go to the local rental store and they rent for $50/hour. So Take %75 of that...$37 and offer that to your boss.
