[QUOTE=Smallaxe;4526694]"Dormant Seeding" is an event , not a condition of a seed... I don't believe the event is possible in FL... [/QUO

What im trying to add is ... the seeds have to start germinating when the pre -m is bonded to be effected. The ones not germinating will escape death. The ones that started germinating prior to the application also escape death.

When the snow is gone and the grass is starting to green is when the Dormant Seeding is in the process of germinating and that coincides with the 1st round of pre-m/fert for the cool-season grasses... therein lies the conflict...

Now that I know that clay's texture(platelets) has nothing to do with water infiltration, percolation, or drainage
,,, I wonder what does...
