melting urea and spraying out of the z spray.
Thinking about this approach! And z spray owners do this with good results? If so post how u do it.

Z-spray is too low volume to use water as a carrier.
If you were using one-third gallon per thousand sqft...and if you wanted to apply one pound of nitrogen...you would need to add 117 pounds of urea to your tank. Concentrated solution would probably burn the grass. http://www.extension.umn.edu/distrib...re/dg6551.html If...I understand your question. Urea is soluble at 119 grams in 100 grams of water (at 77 degrees). So if a gallon of water weighs about 8.3 pounds, you can dissolve about 9 pounds of urea in it, as a maximum. |
