What to do about hosting?
I have my site with Go Daddy. I was looking to had a blog to my website, but not sure I want to further my relationship with Go Daddy.
I like that Go Daddy was easy for me to use and setup, but after reading here I want to be able to do more to optimize my site. Here are my options- Pay for Wordpress and extend contract with Go Daddy Move to another Hosting service Keep the general website builder I got free from Go Daddy and add their blog page. Also, please feel free to critique my site. Thanks

Run from Godaddy. There are tons of good hosts out there that are much better than Godaddy. Pay for WordPress? WordPress is a free open source blog platform, if Godaddy tells you that you have to pay for it, get away from them as fast as you can. Most hosts offer a one-click install of WordPress and it's free!
Site looks pretty good for a site builder, but you won't be able to take it with you when you move to a new host. My suggestion is find a new host and use their one click install to install WordPress and build your site using WordPress. It's very versatile and can be used as a CMS and a blog with one installation. I built my site with WordPress, granted it's not the best looking site out there as I'm no web designer, but it works for what I need.

To varying degrees, I use:
asmallorange.com (love and recommend as extremely user-friendly for the less technically-inclined) mediatemple.com (GS Grid Server and VE Server) fluidhosting.com (been with them for a few several years, using a variety of their service levels, after staying with them after they acquired a previous host and have only had a great experience). rackspace.com (i don't recommend them until you hit the enterprise level)

Well, I have decided to just stick with GoDaddy for a few more months. I figures out that I could add their Blog package for $5 a month for the next two months. Then I can get to the slower part of the year and redo my site with another host.
Thanks for all the feedback and any more to come.
