Edging with your trimmer - How To

Last week, I wrote this article on using a line trimmer effectively. Some of you suggested I add some more about individual techniques and style, so this time, I'm focusing on edging with your trimmer. LMK what you think!

Something I've seen around here, and like your article says, some guys edge with the motor up near the face or over their head. I don't do all that, I hold it in the same position as if I was trimming, just rotate the trimmer counterclockwise 180 degrees.

Yep, I see people doing that around here too. I just flip it over makes it easy to quickly switch between trimming and edging.

I prefer to use a curved shaft while edging a sidewalk, for me I dont need to have such a high angle the make the line perpendicular to the ground. And I can edge like a mean SOB
