Disposing of yard waste

What do you guys do with all the debris. We usually have 3 trucks full of grass or branches and junk by the end of of each day. I need to find a nice easy way to start getting rid of this stuff.

I used to live in Akron, so I can say with confidence that fescue/bluegrass/ryegrass grass clippings make some of the best compost. You might try contacting some local nurseries, growers, or farmers -- they may take it. As for the branches, I would save them until you are allowed to burn. Do the best you can to keep the grass separated from the branches.

not allowed to do any burning. i as wondering if i could get a dumpter for yard waste.

There's got to be a wood recycling place around you, just have to look for it.

As for the clippings, I do not bag ever in order to not deal with it. Had an HO with a bought property that was 12" tall, he asked "where did all the grass go, there's none in your truck?"

We don't have any place locally to take clippings. I could take it to a farm if I had to, but I'm never sure what chems are in it from lawn applications, especially if it's yards we don't treat.

As for leaf debris, I've got an organic farm that will take those, they want nothing to do with the clippings.

If branches become an issue it might be worth while to get a chipper and mix the grass with the mulch to maintain a good balance for compost... finding a place to make pile of that stuff rather than bulky, ugly branch piles should be easier...]

We keep our grass clippings and branches separate. At the end of the day we put the branches in a burn pile we have, and burn whenever we can get the permit, and the grass clippings go in the pasture and the cattle eat it. As for others in our area they dump at the local landfill, a small fee for branches but none for grass clippings.

My supplier takes yard waste. Past 2 seasons were free to dump. This year they started charging $5 a load for grass. Branches they give credit for purchases. I have like $0.60 toward my next purchase. Lol!

Has anybody used a roll off dumpster and have them pick up on a regular basis?

Find a guy that mixes top soil. They usually have an area for composting material. If they know that you only drop off clean clippings they will let you dump free.

If there is no place to chip amd much/compost then you have a market
