I hate commerical acounts!
What a pain, with out going into details I cant find a replacement for one place fast enough. So now they dont want it cut the rest of the year and want to know how much the leaf removal will be so it can get "approved"...and to boot a bunch of bush trimming I was going to do is now being done by a "volunteer". Jezzzus.........
I doubt my leaf removal is going to get approved when a 300 sum dollor estimate for other work was balked at .....I cant wait till I can tell some places to GFed . ![]() ![]() ![]() I need

Not all commercial accounts are like that.

I know , but the ones I have are nutty, they all pay but thats where the goodness ends. Funny when I was starting out I saw these places as the holy grail of mowing etc. now the longer I do this I hardly see the point. Perhaps I will stumble onto a good one at some point.

IE 36 Mowing, Bush trimming 3 times a year and some time for leaf clean up? Most of my Commercial Accounts are full service. I clearly state that while I offer 12 equal payments, the service is not equally. If they cancel then I have the right to bill them for work provided vs billed. That is one of the nice things about commerical accounts. Most stable and professional businesses get it and understand it. |

Have already pitched that as my others are seasonal only. New person in charge and they think they are saving money nickle and dimming. I already told them it is much easier fiscally to do a seasonal contract. The lady was totally down with it and I gave her a rough number to which whoever is above her said absolutely not. Oh well I know ya cant change stupid and there's a ton of it. Just venting. |

Can you aford to lose it? If so I would likely walk after the end of the season. Come back in the spring with a full service proposal if you want it.

I sure hope I can afford to replace it next year. Cause coming back with a full service or nothing next year will be my plan which is as good as telling them no thanks ...lol This year after last winter and the drought I cant afford to walk away from it this year. Not that its going to make or break me but why leave money on the table ya know. |
