Best/Longest lasting weedeater?

Just had a Redmax 3060ts take a dump on me (less than 50 hours of use)... I'm sick of these new emissions engines. It was a cold blooded turd anyway. Who still makes a good solid trimmer that is comparable to the old Shindaiwa 230, 260, 270 series in terms of reliability?

I need a pretty powerful one that is in the same category as the Redmax that just died on me. Weight is not really an issue, as this is not going to be used to trim yards but just clearing thick weeds and ditches on my farms. No bike handles. Something comparable to the old 270 Shindaiwa. Is the T282 in any way shape or form as good as the 270?
