Australia?
I see that in Australia, Mexico, and most other countries, you can still get the old style trimmers (like the T260, T270). Anyone ever bought equipment from another country? I'm thinking of giving them a call one night.. Would have to stay up until past midnight probably...

Get in touch with Mickhippy or one of the other guys here from down under. they'd be able to steer you to the right place to make it as easy as possible probably.

You need to consult a map of time zones.

You'd be doing well to find the older style motors/equipment unless you can find some old stock. A lot of companies dont update there sites often enough.
Everything has changed to meet your EPA standards so its almost impossible to find an older pre EPA effected machine. Shindaiwa are pretty much on the nose these days with contractors since the Echo buy out. I'd suggest just finding a good machine from a reputable local dealer. That said, give me the link to the machines youve found. |

There are several. I will add links later. All Power is one of them. Shindaiwa's website even has the old stuff for other countries.
