|
Left your job for running a landscape business, what did you leave behind?
If you left a career to start your landscape business, just curious what you left, money wise, to start your business... I've got the poll so you don't have to answer with actual numbers. Because to some money isn't everything.

Why didn't you state your situation to start it off?

I was a fulltime police officer. Decided to take the leap last October after being parttime for 7 yrs. ive always been a legitimate business. Havent looked back. Actually plan on starting another company soon. Just found out my wife is pregnant for our first child. It will be nice to be home in the evening with my family unless i chose to work late.

Left a food delivery route driver job. Worked that from age 19-22 to save up money for equipment. Had to be at work by 5am and was done when i was done so most days by 3pm. It allowed me to go cut some grass until 7 or 8 pm and establish a small client base until I had enough work to support myself and my wife. Always wanted to be in this industry, just needed to earn the $$$.
