Demo tough?
So I have been looking to demo a scag v ride, toro grandstand, exmark vantage and gravely pro stance. I am going to be buying two machine hopefully this fall for next season. My problem is it seems no one has any demo machines and sales reps are not helping in any way. I did find a 61" v ride today at a dealer 45 miles away but they won't let me demo on my properties because I am from out of state even though they are just across the line. I told them I would buy from them but I have to be able to demo on my properties first. He was going to check with his rep and see what he could do. I have heard this before! Maybe it is my area but this is a pita. I would just buy something without demoing but I have done that before and I regretted it as that was the worst mower I have ever owned. Any of you guys have any suggestions?

I had the same problem trying to find a scag v ride demo. So I called a dealer and I ask for the number of my representative. Called him and told him I was interested in buying a scag but the i wouldnt buy one without a demo. That helped me cause he was like dang you went through all this trouble to get a demo you must be serious about getting it. I had a v ride demo at the closest dealer on Monday and I called on Friday. Hope this helps.
