What does that truck weigh and what is it's GVWR? I can see it being a good addition to your tools.

Looks like a soild starter truck at a good price depending on the specs. I don't think I would go with a "trash" bed either for the erosion type work. Beside don't you have that monster gooseneck you could haul brush in.

The trash beds are nice but the sides will not remove on some beds. Takes away from the versatility. Makes it a pain if you needed to haul palleted material like sod. There is no perfect truck so you have to find the best fit.

I dont really understand why people dont just get materials delivered. The sod co charges me a $50-75 drop for 15 or fewer pallets and free for 20. It doesnt make sense for me to pick it up.
Same with hauling trash. They pick it up and dispose at private landfill for $100 a load. I guess i see an advantage where you need the truck all day for convenience, but you still need a place to dump to avoid $30 a ton trash fees Posted via Mobile Device |

I have been putting off this same purchase for several years now due to multiple reasons. One thing I did was go back through all my invoices the last 4 years and look at how this truck may have saved me money, expedited the job, or made me money. The reality is a it would have already paid for itself.
