I guess it would. I've never been a fan of high lift jacks, they can get pretty unstable pretty quick. I would be sure to put some jack stands under it once you get it up.

Why not just buy a MO-Jack instead?

small jack under front edge of mower deck and a pair of jack stands works for me. Why spend the money when most of us already have these items on hand. JMO.

To many other uses for the Hi-Lift Jack. I am limited with the Mo-Jack.

Hi-Lift Jack for changing blades?
I use car ramps. Don't have to jack or use stands.

I have a Hi-Lift and have used it with my Dixie Chopper a few times. You can lift only so high before you have to put stands under the mower and then lower and reposition the jack to lift higher.
Doable but time consuming. I found a gantry crane and 2 ton hoist on craigslist fairly cheap. It's multi-purpose so that's what I use now. I'd really like to keep the hoist on it all the time but I don't know how long it would last out in the weather. Does anyone else have a hoist out in the elements? |
