Blowout advise
What does everyone use for blow outs, clock, valves, clock and pigtails,l mostly find valve boxes and use valves 2 or 3 at a time sometimes a clock when valves are finicky but this is slow, what is the most common way and fastest?l don't know if clock and pigtails are an option but sure would beat digging in valve boxes in some situations .any advise out there.

Use the clock if you don't know where the valve boxes are. I use a couple clip on jumpers and run three at a time that way. I don't like digging up boxes and if they have a stuck zone in spring they always blame you since you had it open.

Radio shack. Get a ten pack for a few dollars. Just small gauge wire with insulated alligator clips on both ends.

I take wires out of panel when running the jumpers in case back feeding can damage clock.

Does every body remove wires before using pigtails, doesn't that slow you down to much, any advise on using pigtails would be appreciated

Set the clock for 2 min first zone, 1 min every other zone and go sip your coffee. Of course it may not work if you're at a giant house.

One minute zones wouldnt even come close around here. It doesnt add but maybe 1 minute to pup wires three at a time but you save alot more time than you spend. If I know where a manifold is I go to it but around here there are hardly any manifolds most are pvc spread throughout the properties. Most around here are 1 acre or more and 8-12 rotors per zone usually 4-5 minutes for first zone and a couple each after that.
