Need opinion/price on hedge trimming
A new customer i've never seen requested to have his hedges (azaleas) rounded. I picked him up because he moved next door to a long time customer. I've done his yard two or three times, and just text him for my check. I rounded 7 azaleas and put debris on the street. It took me about 20 minutes. There were a couple of nandinas that took me only seconds, so i'm not sure how to charge for that. I fine tuned with my weedeater. Anyway, i told him that i'd add it to to the price of the yard. I don't want to scare him off, but i want to be fair to myself. How much would you charge for that job?

I charge $60/ hour for shrub trimming. If you worked 30 minutes charge him $30. It seems that if you don't charge appropriately in the beginning with a new customer, they will always expect a lower price.

Always charge a minimum of an hour of your time.
