We got our first really big job
OK so I meet with a customer yesterday and she told me what she wants done. I hope I remember everything.
front of the house: bushes trimmed 5"-8" back (racking out the bed when done) Monkey grass either removed or finish the rest of the bed edge with it (10' or so) pressure wash 8 car drive way front walk way porch. I am sure I will do the back of the house around the pool too. Back of the house: 8'-10' tear drop shaped flower bed with weeds and a big sago plant. She want us to save the sago and rip everything out down to the dirt and put in new weed blocker and mulch. round up? two more smaller 4' beds also need work: (re mulched also) Remove BIG Century plant move some knock out roses or replace get rid of weeds and vines from part of the beds (not much) big bush about 5' higher than the house wants trimmed to be level with house. I think that's all! How would you price something like this? The bushes in the front of the house are about 35' total length. Thanks in advance, Zippy-Phil Don't know if these pictures will help Front of the house ![]() Back of house ![]() the 1st circle is the bush that needs 4'-5' taken off the next 3 circles are the flower beds. |

While I understand you asking the question(s) you did, none of us can answer it for you? I have no clue as to how much $$ you need to make a $$?? If you were to price it at my rates, you may be way over your areas markets rates and you would loose the job. It may also be that my rates would cause you to loose your a$$, LOl

She had one person out there already and they wanted to charge her $3000. We are still kind of new to this game. For some reason $500 or so came to mind, but I have not given her a price yet.

$500 for all that?? You have close to $500 in materials or so. The $2500-3000 range doesnt seem to far off. You really need to sit down and figure out your cost/labor. Or you could do it for $500, lose yur a$$, learn a lesson and move on to the next job.
