Leave Echo for something new?

Not in New Jersey. There are are Stihl, Echo, Husky, Redmax, and Shindaiwa dealers all over the place.

I would say go with Kawasaki for backpack blowers. I really like my KRB650B. The KRB750A or B has a little more power, but the same motor i think.

The 650 has a 45.9 cc engine. The 750 has a 64.7 cc engine.

The 750 has a lot more power going by Kawi's spec sheet-
650- 450 CFM, 190 MPH
750- 720 CFM, 200 MPH

The 650 i have can blow wet leaves off the forest floor with no problem. i have tried it out before. It (the 650) still has alot of power.

But yes, you are right. the 750 does have more power.

The Echo dealer doesn't carry Shindaiwa? All the ones around here do since Echo owns Shindaiwa now.

None of mine do either. One sold shindy then stopped carrying it when he could get echo

Had a shower move through today that put an end to my mowing so I grabbed the camera and headed out back to do some blowing before dark. I need to head back there about any time I get a chance before the leaves start coming down heavy, because then I'll have zero time for it. I've never really kept track but it probably takes me 40 or 50 hours to blow the leaves on my roadways, trails, clearings and "pet spots".

Here's the video. This is with the extra intermediate tube on...tends to "slice" a lot better and give me pinpoint control.

did you mean to say 40 or 50 hours, or did you actually mean minutes, or did you mean 40 or 50 hours per season?
