2013 program and price changes
When do you think the best time to do this is? I'm rolling out some new program levels and also need to adjust some pricing. Our growing season is about over and we will get up leaves until Christmas.
I bill out on the 15th of te month. So I thought about sending them out janurary 1 and start new plans February 15 billing. Or send out in November and start new on janurary 15 billings. I'm trying to work everything out to not get lost in the Christmas rush but also give enough time to answer any questions. I send out weed prepaid on janurary 1 but we don't start round 1 til mid February at the earliest. Posted via Mobile Device |

When would you guys send out notifications of price and plan changes? Our pre apps start mid feb and growing season around mid march, but we do routine services all year for monthly customers. |

unless we are off on our lawn size, we never raise prices on current clients. If they are more than 1000 sq feet short (actual vs priced), we will raise their prices when their prepay letters go out. We will however do a price increase subject to new clients only with our advertised pricing before we begin marketing each spring.

Efficiency - so the same customers you have had for years have the same prices despite cost of living, fuel jumps, insurance hikes etc?? Wow interesting....that's a great deal for them.

Thanks. I'm just looking to add some service packages. I'm also trying. To get some people to switch from 2 weeks cuts to weekly. So they may incur some price changes.
Although I like to start the new programs in January, February may be more feasible Posted via Mobile Device |
