we actually run an old IH Cub Cadet with a Haban 48" sickle bar. There is a niche for customers with pond slopes or long farm roadsides. A sickle bar gives and excellent cut and is great for tall stuff, but not for appearance.

corn as we write? you gotta team posting with ya? lol. Seriously though, did you guys up there get enough rain this summer to make yield? I know Indiana and some other states were really hit hard by the drought.(us included) I saw a bean field the other day that didn't look like much was gonna come out of it.

That thing is cool. I figured it must be some sort of flail mower due to the way it striped and the fact that it was a rear discharge setup.
