Soccer Field Stripes

Turf Fescue
Used a 60'' DC cut it at 1 3/4 I was amazed how well the stripes showed up that short
I hate mowing that short But that is what they want. So the ball will roll fast

Looks nice.
I mow some things similar. One is a practice football field. Once they start practicing in the late summer, they trample the piss out of the grass with their cleats.

I mow a high school soccer field here in Ohio. I mow at 2.75. Makes me nervous. Soccer is so hard on a field. Its beat by seasons end.

I mow one at 2.5, and it's beat *now*, I'm barely cutting anything any more, just dumping dead grass from the bags. At least it still looks pretty striped.

With boys they want short but when girls play in spring time They like it 2.5 tall

I cut 1-2'' off each week You kinda see foot tracks from my pic before looks realy bad
They put water to it and I put alot Fertilizer and lots of Iron I keep it spike alot
I never bag it either

Here is one we do in Connecticut we cut it at 1 3/4" three times per week.

Stripes look good. We have one field they play field hockey on. Same grass you have, turf fecue with a little bit of bluegrass, they wanted it cut to
1 1/4". I said how about we try two inch first and go from there....

We have a few field hockey fields also they are cut at 1 1/2". They keep pumping the water on them and we keep cutting them 3 times a week. That is what they want for the girls so the ball doesnt get stuck in the grass. We do the varsity fields with a 80" Reel Mower. Tried it with the Exmark and just could not get it low enough.

See you have goal problems to Here We re sod it after each seaon and Slit seed h3ll out of it on the rest of the field
But that going be thing of the pass They installed turf on the football field and playing more on it I say come next year I'll loose the treatments on the grass soccer field
