Where are Husky Line Trimmers Made?

I just got off th phone and the customer service rep needs a S/N to be able to tell me where it is made. I was looking for a unit with the best overall parts. Are any of them made in China? I know the 426 is the Redmax, but what about the 224,324, or 323,326,327

Not all of the Husky trimmer line corresponds directly with one in the Redmax line like the blowers do. My 223L was made in Sweden and says so right on it. I don't believe that any of the RM or Husky products are made in china. If any of them are, it's news to me, and I'll refuse to buy any model made there if that turns out to be the case.

I noticed when I was looking at chainsaws that some said "Made in Sweden" and others had "Made by Husqvarna" then gave the Swedish address of Husqvarna. I think its a way for manufacturers to hide nation of origin. Like the fishing rods that said "Made by W%$% & M%$#% Denver Co. USA". Yeah the company is in the USA and its made by that company but thats not the same as stating the actual country where it was made. Tricky ways to hide that the things are made in China or Korea and makes the consumer think he is buying a made in USA product when he's not.

these trimmers would be great except for the lousey zamma carbs. 2 of mine flood when not in use despite 2 rebuilds and 1 brand new carb.

This is right.

The ones made here are made in the Poulan factory since Husqvarna owns Poulan. These include the low end chainsaws like the 135, 235 etc that are sold regularly at big box stores. The are basically Poulan saws with Husky facia same as the low end Jonsereds.

The pro saws, and the better homeowner class saws say made in Sweden because they are.
