Very busy this season and lots of challenges because of growth. I'm pretty sure there is already a Maine thread on here buddy but the guys rarely post much on it.... Glad to hear you are enjoying it all!

No I've lucked out...but I believe two of the guys have been stung....we keep a can of bee/wasp spray in each truck. I think it was way worse about 2-3weeks ago compared to now. One guy wanted to spray a nest I was working around, I said it'll be fine.....I ended up dropping a section of fence on it and ticked them off...it was by FAR closer to me than anyone else but as fate would have it, they flew over and stung the guy who was the most worried about 60 feet further away. I felt bad, but they can smell fear...lol

I found a good one mowing a town property. A HUGE nest of bees, I mean thousands of them. I couldn't get my mower of the lawn fast enough
. Call the Super of DPW for the town and he sends out an expert. They are mining bees that cannot bite or sting. They narrowed the nest down to one area that we have to trim because these things are rare and we don't want to upset them with a mower. Another in a long list of firsts for this season.
