Well that tears it. Tomorrow I'm getting an MM and a 55 gallon drum of Mechanic in a Bottle. Presto, no more maitenance overhead. Boy, I do some of my best thinking here at Hooters.

Actually blades of grass aren't that soft, and the softer the material the harder it is to cut. there is a whole science to getting a clean cut on anything. I use to work in a plastic film plant and they spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on high tech blades to cut film that is wayyy thinner and softer than a blade of grass.

As long as the baffles are in good shape...and you have good lift on the blades..
The deck should make enough vacuum lift ...standing the grass straight up beneath the deck...any case hardened blade should cut it clean... In a perfect world of course.... Posted via Mobile Device
