our easements here are like 16 ft from the curb in, which sucks, but takes all liability from the city for repairs esp to irrigation systems. i took that into account when i install alot of mine, including my own, and stub out to the heads instead of running the pipe withthe street

Hey! That's not a garden hose. It's a GREEN backflow device. They are going GREEEEEN. The whole system has a much lower carbon footprint than the intricate systems that we all install!
